Laurens started his PhD under the advisement of Professor Laird and Professor Biegler in the Fall semester of 2022. He completed his B.Sc. in Computational Engineering Science from RWTH Aachen University in 2020 and he completed his M.Sc. in Computational Science and Engineering from ETH Zurich in 2022.
